in a better way to elect our leaders.

Our election system is broken. They’re missing one crucial choice: “None of the Above”. How many times have you voted for the lesser of two evils? I will push to add “Do Over”, “Neither”, or “None of  the Above” to be a valid ballot choice. The parties can then put up new candidates, and hopefully, we will like at least one the next time around.

And this two-party nonsense has got to go. What are the choices they give us? Bad or Worse? Feh. It’s all self-sustaining corruption. The party is over when I enter the office.

One of the best things we can do for this country is to eliminate Intra-party money transfers. Each official must stand on their own. This removes the HUGE influence of the party leaders, and lets the party members vote much more independently, rather than as a big block of sheep.

Another helpful change is to eliminate contributions from lobbyists, business, and bundlers. Campaign donations must come from individuals, the people. This brings the people back into the driver’s seat, limiting the influence of special interest groups and greedy corporations. It allows the lawmakers to enact laws for the people, not big business.

The entire campaign process, the rules, the regulations, are so incredibly biased and broken that one could easily write a book on the subject. A very large book. I’ll just sum up my position by saying that I will undo this mess, and make it a lot easier for Third Party candidates to take a stand. Democracy cannot work without real competition between the parties.

Election Law Reform is at the top of my list of things to do. I will absolutely, positively, guarantee that I will change these laws. These absurdly unfair laws are what has gotten us into the most corrupt, most abusive, administration in history. These laws must be changed so that this type of disaster will never happen again.
