marriage is a Religious issue.
My definition of “family” is: Wherever you find love.
Same Sex Marriage: “Separation of Church and State”. The government has no right to be involved with marriage in any way. This is purely a religious issue. The government should recognize a financial dependence between Social Security Numbers in an attempt to give families a break, but that’s about all. “Marriage” is up to your religion to define. This is quite simply not a government problem in any way, shape or form at all.
OK. I’m going to take a stand here... Ready? Here’s goes... There is nothing wrong with being gay. Yes. That’s right. You heard me.
There is nothing wrong with being gay. In fact, it is NORMAL.
Being straight myself, I find their choice of partner a little icky, but that’s just not any of my business, is it? Heck, I even understand why they choose what they do. It’s primarily genetics. They really don’t have a choice. They’re programmed that way. Even if they weren’t, it’s none of my business. And they’re all good people, about as friendly and helpful as anyone you could ever hope to meet. So get over it. They’re people just like you and I and everyone else. No discrimination allowed.
March, 2007 - General Peter Pace and Senator Sam Brownback claim homosexuality is immoral. My response: Go get psychiatric help! Sen. Brownback, you are entitled to your opinion, even if it is warped. General, you should be demoted and discharged with dishonor. Let me tell you why... This country, America, was, and always has been, built with, on, by and for diversity, not conformity. You and your narrow views are what we as Americans are fighting. You are a disgrace to the uniform. Get out. Gays are people too. This is the land of the free. No fascism here.
