The current state of our country is dismal. We are stressed. We are obsessed with the almighty dollar. We are losing our morals and values. And we have forgotten the most important reasons we exist... family and friends. Our leadership is a failure. A complete failure. They have led, and we have followed. They have put the pursuit of the dollar above all else, and greed has been our path. Corruption is rampant. Concern for others is non-existent. You can tell... crime is up, wages are down, more families than ever before have fallen below the poverty line, more children than ever before do not have health care, and nothing matters more than making a buck. Is this really what you want? You voted them into office! Yes you did. It’s your fault. Never again vote GOP or DEM...
I do not pursue the dollar. I put family and friends first. I stick to my morals and values like glue. I have not sold out, and will not ever sell out. I have no reason to. I have what I want already. I have my family and my friends. That’s all I need. But many people, myself included, are now having difficulty making ends meet. We cannot afford health care. We cannot afford college for our children. We cannot afford many of the basic necessities of life. We deserve better. We work hard for it. We have earned it.
I wish I could say that the list of issues over there on the left was pretty much all the issues facing the American people. But it’s not even close. It’s just the tip of the iceberg. For example, the list doesn’t include the Banking Industry, the Insurance Industry, or even basic Consumer Protection issues. That doesn’t mean we won’t get around to fixing those problems as well! Pretty much everything boils down to two very basic problems in our leadership: greed and megalomania. Put me at the top, and those two basic causes are gone. Everything else should fall relatively easily into place.
With the numerous views expressed on the left there, we’re bound to disagree on something. Maybe even a few things. Maybe even a lot of them. That’s a risk I have to take. Some of the issues are black and white. Some are strictly opinion. Some are based on theory. Most are based on the facts. Be prepared to do some research on your own and open your mind. Just don’t get lost in the details.
Remember the truly important issues that we agree on.
Take your time. Think. Come back. There’s a lot to digest.
