I don’t like prisons. The whole concept seems wrong to me, except for the really horrendous crimes like murder, child molestation, stealing millions of dollars and the like. The whole system is broken, overcrowded and overwhelmed. Why do we even want these people in our civilized society? In our country? I say give them a choice. They can do their time here, or be shipped out to a willing foreign country and be free there. When they do their time they can come back. We’ll even pay the airfare and a big bonus for taking them. It’s a lot cheaper than keeping them here. And they probably won’t even come back. But get them out of here.

Young offenders, 18-22, can you say “Boot Camp”? I knew you could. You’ll come out changed men and women, responsible, with skills, and with pride.
