Qualifications

He’s the one, the only one!

Do you know how to qualify a President?

Here’s what you really need to be asking... Just three important questions:

1.) What’s your intent? This is probably the most important question. You want to know what a candidate wants to do, and how it might affect you. I have answered this under the “Issues” tab. You can read about my thoughts, logic, and feelings on a wide range of subjects. What you read is what I intend to do. But this question is pointless without a really good answer to Number 2).

2.) Who owns you? The answer here determines how much of 1.) is true and how much is just a bunch of hooey. Look and see who is paying for the campaigns to determine the real intent of the candidate. Most, if not all of them, are owned by big business and special interest groups, the very same ones who sold America. My answer to “Who owns you?”: No one.

3.) Are you smart enough? This question is important, because you have to be sure your President can understand and adapt to the changing challenges that the world, and our economy often present. Let me answer this by saying: I’ve tested in the top 1% of every aptitude test I’ve ever taken. I’ve also tested at an IQ over 140. Brainpower... not a problem: I’m a member of MENSA.

Other Significant Questions

Can a Middle Class Senior Software Engineer really run a country? You bet your sweet patootie he can… If he’s got an IQ over 140, if he can dig into the details while keeping an eye on the big picture and the ultimate goals, if he can talk to people to get to the root of their problems and solve them, if he can understand how everything works together and the impacts any changes will have, if he doesn’t suffer from “not invented here” and isn’t afraid to ask for help and suggestions, if he knows how to utilize the experts around him, if he’s a decent honest guy that others can trust, if he’s goal oriented, if he’s a hard worker, if he’s determined… sure he can. Not a problem. The solutions to most of our problems are already known. The difficulty we are having is finding someone to implement those solutions, to champion the people instead of short term corporate profit. Leading a country is not as difficult as you might expect.

A Democratic and Republican congress will not work with you. How could you handle them? This is a myth, plain and simple. The truth is that electing an independent would shake the government to its core. The power structure would be in complete disarray. The truth is, that electing an Independent would be a mandate from the people, and the old guard would be running for their lives. What’s important here, is what gets done immediately after the election and how the new President chooses to interact with the congress. If the new President chooses to work within the existing structure, allows them to keep their credibility, to pretend that they speak for the people, then yes, all is lost and nothing will change. But if the new President chooses to use the momentum to further and permanently dismantle the corrupt power core, if he chooses to utilize the mandate from the people, if he’s not afraid to step on a whole lot of toes… then there can, and will be change.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. How can we trust you will not forget us? Again, this is a myth. This statement is only true if you are susceptible. It’s like a disease, and some people are simply immune. Those who seek power are susceptible. Those who do not seek power, but seek office for the betterment of their people, are not generally susceptible. With a properly functioning immune system, like surrounding yourself with people who will kick you in the ass if you get out of line, this disease can be avoided. There have been many instances of leaders, throughout history, who have actually been good for their country. And for the most part, it has been when one of the people has taken the job.

Do you really think you can get the job done? Of course I can. I was born without a fear of, or respect for, authority. I have no problems stomping all over the people who have misslead this country. Not me, personally, I can't do it because I'm just too nice a guy and really don't like being nasty. But I'm perfectly happy to hire someone to be nasty for me. (And I'm sure there will be volunteers!) What I bring to the table is determination, and the ability to use any and all means to get the job done. Although I prefer conventional methods of persuasion and interaction, I'm not afraid to go unconventional. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. There is too much at stake to allow the corruption and abuse of power to continue. We're not quite at the point of revolution, but we're getting close. And it's not just me. I'm just the driver, the motivator, the one who keeps poking and prodding and checking that things are getting done. My staff is who does all the actual work. I know that. They know that. You know that. One person doesn't run a country, they just provide the direction. I'm impatient. I'm also a perfectionist. The job will get done, and done correctly.

Bonus extras!

Education: Self taught. I have never stopped learning. I spend about two hours every day reading five different newspapers and a science magazine, and have been for the last 20 years. I know what is going on, what is possible, and how to do it.

Political experience: I am a problem solver. I study, analyze, and investigate problems. When I make a change, I know exactly what effects it will have, and how those effects will ripple through and affect other areas as well. That’s what I do. I have over 26 years experience at that. Do I have any experience lying, cheating and stealing like a real politician? No. I don’t do that.

My real strength: is that I don’t suffer from NIH (Not Invented Here). I ask questions. I ask for input. I ask for opinions. I really do want to hear all sides of the story. I want to understand the problem completely, from all angles. This, is by far the qualification which sets me apart from all the others: The ability to listen.

To be completely candid and truthful, I do have at least one annoying flaw...
Yup. I have trouble with names and dates. I’m a “concept” person. Please don’t take it personally if I don’t remember your name...

The economy. Trade policy. World events. Terrorism. The war. There’s nothing difficult to solve here if you’re free to implement the solutions. I am. No one else is.

I’ve been down. I’ve been out. I’ve been laid up, and I’ve been laid off. I’ve had a fairly tough time. I have not had it easy. I have fought my way back every time. And I’ve stood for hours in the lines at the DMV. What other candidate can say that?

I am not just another arrogant S.O.B... I’m mad. I’m furious. Our country has been sold. China and the Middle East now own us. Our Leaders sold us for a few bucks to shove into their own pockets. Your life, your livelihood, was sold. It’s greed, gone berserk. America, once the leader of the free world, is now the laughing stock. That just makes me livid.

I am truly just a nice smart guy who wants to get in there and fix problems. Well, OK, not really want to... I was happy working hard with a middle-class income. I don’t have the greed gene. I was happy with being one of the crowd. I don’t have the megalomaniacal gene. But our country has lost its way. The economny is about to fail, spectacularly. Our Leadership thinks nothing of war for profit. Taking lives is meaningless to them. So somebody decent has to get up to the top. Might as well be me. I’m volunteering. I’m ready. I hope you are too.

I really am a nice friendly guy! Really really. Honest. I’m about the nicest, friendliest guy you could ever hope to meet. Well, except at the office, and there I’m all work.
