My Middle East policies have been reviewed and approved by world-renowned Professor Waris Shere, highly respected author of several major books and over forty publications on the prospects for peace. We both believe it can be accomplished. We have a solid, viable plan for peace, and to eradicate terrorism, permanently.
I will be tough on terrorism. In fact, I will be tougher on terrorism than any other candidate running for President... but in a very different way.
Head-on is not the right way to fight this. It just makes things worse, obviously. There are far better ways to eliminate terror and terrorists. This really is such a non-issue when handled correctly. The correct way is to alleviate the poverty and misery that drives it. This can be done any number of ways, but primarily consists of lifting the economy of the region so that people have steady jobs and income. People are just not in a terrorizing mood with a full belly.
The next step is to soften the tone of their leadership. Again, this can be done many ways too. People tend to do what they’re told, to believe what they are told to believe. Their leadership is the key to their long term stability. And again, why would you go listen to someone preach hate, when you’ve got a pot roast and a beer waiting at home? Sounds inanely simple, doesn’t it? Well it is. And it works. There are a few more details, but nothing I’m going to write about. Some things work better when the subjects don’t know.
Have you ever been to a third-world country? Have you actually seen with your own eyes how these people live? No, probably not. It’s worse than the worst of our downtown ghettos. I was completely shocked the first time I saw it. I had absolutely no idea. So if you haven’t been there, you’re not qualified to comment on these policies. You’ll just have to take my word on it.
