In the 70’s and 80’s, when things weren’t so bad and weren’t going downhill so rapidly, I’ll admit to being anti-union. But the last 10 years have really changed my mind. I’ve seen the light, as it were. You were right all along. I’m sorry.
I will bring back jobs.
I will bring back pensions.
I will bring back health-care.
I will bring back affordable quality education.
I will support Workers Unions with a vengeance.
We will fix the trade policies that have brought this nation to its financial knees, and then we’ll set standards of conduct and employment for all of Corporate America to follow.
It will be done.
Well, everything except for the “guaranteed employment” parts. If you want to get paid the big bucks, then you’re damn well gonna work for it.
