Your Personal Life

in privacy!

It’s not personal anymore.

Did you know your employer can spy on and dictate your personal life? Yes, they can. They can tell you which TV shows to watch, what to eat, what to wear, when to go to sleep, who you can date, who you can talk to, what you say, where you take your vacations, everything. It’s not illegal. It just didn’t used to be possible. Now, with technology, it is. It’s a big step towards corporate slavery.

As good jobs are shipped overseas and become harder and harder to find here in the USA, companies are finding that they can have people sign away their rights just to feed their families. They want to dictate your every move. More and more are doing it. Yes, it has already started. Land of the free my ass. I’ll put a stop to this immediately. Your personal life is personal. While you’re on the clock they can spy all they want - at the office. But off the clock, your life is none of their business. Your boss on your back, 24 hours a day. No privacy at all. I’m the only one who seems to care at this point. I do hope this terrifies you as much as it does me. That free cell-phone the office gave you... does it have GPS? Maybe you should check. And how do you know the microphone isn’t on? Are you sure? It’s just software. Give me a few minutes and I can program it to eavesdrop quite easily...

The Government’s purpose is to protect people from each other, not themselves. Meaning, that things like seat-belt laws are OK with me. People drive better without distractions, toddlers crawling around the back seat, friends and kids jumping around and the like. That helps protect the other drivers on the road. Drunk driving laws are another example of protecting other people. Where I draw the line is government getting into my life and telling me what to do. If I want to ride my bicycle without a helmet, I should be able to. It’s nobody’s business but mine. If I want to let my kids ride without a helmet, again, that’s my business, not theirs. And if I want to terminate my life because I’m bedridden and in pain with no chance of recovery, then that’s my business too. And I should be allowed to have proper help doing so.

The government must stay out of our personal lives and our personal decisions.
